If God is God alone, why should we hesitate?

Jeremiah 10:6-11

There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might.  Who would not fear you, O King of the nations?  For this is your due; for among all the wise ones of the nations and in all their kingdoms there is none like you.

They are both stupid and foolish; the instruction of idols is but wood!  Beaten silver is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz.  They are the work of the craftsman and of the hands of the goldsmith; their clothing is violet and purple; they are all the work of skilled men.  

But the LORD is the TRUE GOD; he is the living GOD and the EVERLASTING KING!  At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.

Thus shall "YOU" say to them:  "The gods who did not make the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens."

So what shall "WE" do/say?

Psalm 96:2-6 says,

Sing to the Lord, "BLESS" his name; "TELL" of his salvation from day to day!  "DECLARE" his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among ALL the peoples!  For great is the Lord, and greatly "TO BE PRAISED"; he is "TO BE FEARED ABOVE ALL gods!"  

For ALL THE gods OF THE PEOPLES ARE WORTHLESS idols, but the Lord made the heavens.  Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Psalm 95:6-7 - Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker!  For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand!  Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.....

Psalm 97:10 - O you who love the Lord, HATE EVIL (command)!!!  He preserves the lives of his saints; he delivers them from the hand of the wicked!

Psalm 96:13 - ..the Lord, for comes, for he comes to judge the earth.  He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.

.....As you go in obedience and courage, by the Holy Spirit, remember, the Lord will never leave his children:

Psalm 94:14-19 - For the Lord will not forsake his people; he will not abandon his heritage; for justice will return to the righteous, and ALL the upright in heart will follow it.  Who rises up for me against the wicked?  Who stands up for me against evildoers?  If the Lord had not been my help my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.  When I thought, "My foot slips", your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.  When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.

....may the Lord richly bless you with a desire to know/obey him further.  May he protect your steps and guard your heart and thoughts from evil the lies of the devil.  May he pursue you with his word of truth and give you understanding in order to ActSaved.  Amen.
